Halloween at Garibaldi

Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown | Garibaldi Annex PAC

This year were doing the Pumpkin patch as usual, a favourite for the kids, and we’re also planning a Halloween Dance and haunted house!

Interested in joining the Halloween Committee? The PAC is looking for parent volunteers to help with these two awesome events.

Pumpkin Patch

We decorate the Garibaldi Garden for Halloween and set it up to look like a pumpkin patch, with pumpkins brought in from a local farm. Kids spend time in the garden throughout the day during their classes. Usually we prepare food harvested from the garden – last year it was warm baked potatoes with butter and kale squares, with cookies and hot apple cider.

Kids take a pumpkin home with them to carve into a jack-o-lantern.

We need help with:

  • Picking up the pumpkins from a local farm and putting them in the garden the night before
  • Decorating the garden the morning of, and tearing down at the end of the day
  • Preparing food during the day

Halloween Dance and Haunted House

This project is still in the beginning phase of planning. Any input and help you can proved is much welcomed!
